EVENT OVERVIEW

EVENT FORMAT

The tournament is a 2-person team event comprising of 3 rounds. The competition format will be one round of 4BBB stableford, ambrose and aggregate stableford. Daily prizes will be awarded to winners and runners up and overall prizes will also be awarded to the highest combined points total for the three rounds. 

The ‘slope handicap system’ will be utilised to calculate player handicaps for the Championship rounds. Under the slope system, the difficulty of the golf course and the tee blocks played from determine a player’s handicap prior to the start of each round.

The Courses

  • NOOSA SPRINGS

    Noosa Springs Golf Club lies a couple of miles inland from the Pacific coastline, between the Noosa National Park and Lake Wayba.

    A resort layout design. Noosa Springs challenges the experienced player and provides enjoyment for all with fairways cut through scenic tracks of tropical rainforest and others routed round a number of spring-fed pools.

    There are several great holes on both nines and no two holes are alike, the outward nine which is home to the 5th, 6th and 7th is isolated from any surrounding development and has attained its own ‘Amen Corner’ reputation.

    Passports & Visas

    → A visa may be required. It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure they’re holding a current visa for the countries they’re visiting. If the traveller is on a non-Australian passport, a valid re-entry visa may be required.

    → You are responsible for visas, entry, health and other requirements, and any documents required by laws, regulations, orders and/or requirements of countries visited. Go Golfing is not responsible for passport and visa requirements or for any loss you sustain for failing to comply with laws, regulations, orders and/or requirements of countries visited.

    → A valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months beyond your return travel date is required for all passengers (including children and infants).

    Airport Transfers

    → Airport transfers are included on the official arrival and departure dates of the tour (refer to the tour itinerary). If you are arriving earlier or departing later and have booked extra night accommodation with Go Golfing, transfers are included for you, otherwise, please note that airport transfers can be arranged for you at an additional cost.

    → Once your flights have been booked, please forward your full arrival and departure details to Reservations@GoGolfing.net.au.
